Licensing

Morris Music, Inc. is owned by Steve Morris and located near the beach in Venice, CA. We publish some well known hit songs from the 1960’s, 1970’s and 1980’s.

Morris Music (BMI) and Sashay Music (ASCAP) mechanical licensing is handled primarily by The Harry Fox Agency.  Synchronization licensing is handled directly through Steve Morris at Morris Music, Inc. Many titles are co-published, and Steve enjoys close working relationships with his co-publishers for expediting sync licensing.

Most of the catalog of some 500 songs is sub-published outside the US & Canada by Warner-Chappell Music Ltd., based in the UK; and Music Sales Ltd., and EMI also in the UK .  When a request for worldwide licensing originates in the USA, the WW rights are handled by Morris Music here.
